Pointer Date

A daily companion with a touch of extravagance and personality to spare.

THE PHILOSOPHY

Driven by discovery, inspired by history.

Created by an enthusiast, for enthusiasts

OraOrea (aura-aurEEya) watches are contemporary concepts rooted in traditional horology. Neither futuristic nor antiquated, they represent the now, whenever that might be.

Created with a designer’s eye and a collector’s expectations, OraOrea’s watches pursue the undefinable characteristics that make some watches keepers, rather than fleeting experiences.

It’s in the subtle detail, like the interaction of colors, the curve of a hand, an unexpected reflection, that these qualities are found. Different for every watch, the process of discovering these moments drives our design.

THE CORIOLIS POINTER DATE

Everyday exceptional.

Classic looks with uncommon style

Designed to be worn every day, the Coriolis merges traditional elements with contemporary style. The dial focuses on depth and texture, featuring a bold index that alternates Roman numerals with gold hemispheres atop layered, brushed rings. The 316L steel case is ideally sized at 38.5mm x 45mm, and was created to showcase high-end finishing. Combined, they create a daily watch for the tastefully minded.

AN ASSEMBLY OF DETAILS

Every surface, considered.

The Coriolis is rife with details to pore over. From 18k gold hemispheres to in-house numerals, hand-finished components to a sculpted case, there is always something to find and always a reason to look again.

Deceptively complicated, simply beautiful.

A case of intrigue

Conceived with clean, flowing lines and a construction that allows for uncommonly outstanding finishing. Polished bevels meet brushed surfaces with a precision typically reserved for watches at twice the price. The kind of work you only notice in the right light, which is the whole point.

goes a long way.

For some je ne sais quoi

Solid 18k gold hemispheres serve as the hour markers, alternating with Roman numerals. A small amount of gold, placed precisely where the light will catch it at any angle. An element both beautiful and functional. The kind of detail you make when the watch is for a collector first, and a market second.

Read at a glance, enjoyed over time

Machined, curved, beveled, polished, capped. Easy to read from above yet enjoyable at every angle, the hands of the Coriolis go far beyond the standard. Small sculptures on their own, they turn the simple act of telling time into something worth pausing for.

Seeking depth, discovering texture.

The more you look, the more you find

The dial of the Coriolis is built, not printed. Rings on rings, layers upon layers, it is a three-dimensional space, not a flat graphic. Each surface allows for intentional finishing, creating subtle contrasts between textured and polished elements. Legible from above but alive from every angle, it's dial that is easy to lose oneself in.

An uncommon take on the date

An everyday watch should go beyond just hours, minutes, and seconds. At the center of the dial is an index that tells the date via the lowest hand. Printed, to not distract, the typography was developed in-house to be legible at a small size, but still intriguing. To maintain symmetry and avoid crowding, the index flips from odd to even numerals at 16/17. An invisible detail, it goes a long way toward maintaining balance on the dial.
